100 Ways to Change the World: Cherie Blair and Arun Kumar’s Fireside Chat on Overcoming Barriers for Women Entrepreneurs

At the 100 Ways to Change the World event in Abu Dhabi, Arun Kumar engaged in a fireside chat with Cherie Blair at the Indiaspora Forum. They focused on the theme of empowering women and changing the world. During the conversation, Cherie highlighted the important work of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, which conducts research to support women entrepreneurs, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women produce an annual report that identifies the key barriers women face, such as digital and financial exclusion, and gender-based violence. This year’s report, set to launch for International Women’s Day, outlines critical challenges and provides recommendations for cross-sector collaboration to advance women’s entrepreneurship.
