Cherie speaks to Front Row about her role as Executive Producer on a new film set in Jerusalem, in which football helps unite a divided city. With recent attempts by the USA to rekindle the Israeli-Palestinian peace process having foundered on the rocks this film, The Rock Pile, explores the conflict through the eyes of three little boys, a Muslim, an Arab-Christian and a Jew, who meet and play football together on the streets of Jerusalem. Cherie is joined by John Deery, the film’s Director, to discuss the importance of this story in today’s world.
