Cherie Blair Delivers Keynote Address at the Università Bocconi Annual International Arbitration Conference

On Thursday 23 May 2024, Cherie Blair K.C delivered the keynote address at the Università Bocconi’s annual international arbitration conference. This year’s topic, ‘When International Arbitration Meets the Rule of Law: Lessons Learned and Challengers Ahead’ inspired Cherie’s address on the intersection between investment law and the fifth strand of Lord Bingham’s definition: that ‘the law must afford adequate protection of fundamental human rights’.
