Nablus Project Graduation

Cherie Blair's Foundation for Women, in partnership with Tomorrow's Youth Organisation, currently supports women entrepreneurs in Nablus through a project which will enable women to generate income based on their skills, education and motivation to work.
On Monday 29 March, participants of the Fostering Women Entrepreneurs in Nablus project graduated after presenting their ideas to a renowned group of leaders from various Nablus sectors including business, government, NGOs including banks and other financing institutions. It was an exceptionally proud day for partners and participants after extensive orientation and teambuilding activities, demanding training in business skills and entrepreneurship and intensive preparation of their business plans for presentation. Now the second phase of the project will begin, offering customised support, mentoring and follow-on training to translate the women's ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.
